Hazelnut Haute Chocolate

Decadent, nearly effortless to create, skin-beautifying with a body-buzz and (amazingly) deeply supports true health.

Think of nut milks like this one that contain only good stuff (no fillers, no processed sugars, no preservatives) as a drink to enjoy with (or as) your morning meal, as an afternoon energy stabilizer and/or treat, or as a way to support your body’s recovery post-exercise.

I make this on cold days as hot chocolate and freeze on warm days as popsicles. Delicious.

BASIC (still delicious):

  • 3 cups water
  • 1/3 cup hazelnuts soaked in very hot water for 15 minutes
  • 3 tbl cacao nibs
  • 3 dates
  • 1 tbl protein powder of choice (use a flavorless, chocolate or vanilla protein powder – no fruity flavors)
  • 1 tbl coconut butter (can substitute coconut oil if that’s what you have on hand)

  • 1 tbl tocotrienals
  • 1/2 tsp cordyceps powder
  • 1/2 tsp mucuna puriens
  • 1/2 tsp pearl

Blend all together on high for 5 minutes if making this as a hot chocolate (the longer blending duration heats the milk).

Cordyceps powder and protein powder support physical stamina, cacao and mucuna puriens boost mood and offer stable energy. This blend also hits the spot for sweetness and chocolate cravings while giving your body fuel that supports its optimum vibe and balanced energy and performance.
